Is yourdoll.com legit or a scam
YourDoll.com is a Chinese “approved” vendor with a dodgy past. The management has provided some explanations as to why, despite being authorized vendors for many legitimate factories, they were still selling counterfeit dolls.
They now promise that they no longer engage in such practices.
They have a very informative website with an appealing design. As 100% drop shippers, all the information comes directly from the factories, which has both advantages and disadvantages.
Factories often over-embellish their products and options, and only someone with real first hand experience can provide accurate information.
I noticed that their shipping timeframes are accurate, which is a realgood point for them.

Typically, drop shippers exaggerate shipping times as a selling point. Once you’ve paid, they often give excuses for 2-3 week delays.
YourDoll.com doesn’t play that game, and it’s worth highlighting.
YourDoll’s management is definitely Chinese, yet they claim to have in stock dolls in California, and their pictures are quite convincing.

However, it’s unclear how they manage a California warehouse while being based in China. They also mention that picking up dolls from the warehouse is no longer possible.

On one hand, the pictures suggest they do indeed have a warehouse, but on the other, the logistical side of it raises questions.
As for their “in stock dolls” in Canada or the EU, they use warehouses rented by Chinese factories to store their dolls. I explain the impact this has for you, as a customer, in this article.
Here is a testimony that I have just read in the sexdolls Reddit sub:

Another factor that leads me to believe they have no firsthand experience with the products they are selling is that they simply copy/pasted the same old information provided by the factories regarding the brand new S-TPE skin option.

They aren’t lying per se; they’re just passing along the factory provided information. However, the information is incorrect, and only a seller with real experience with sex dolls would be able to provide the correct details.
Their review page showcases overwhelmingly positive comments from their customers, and they use Yotpo.com as their review software, which I’m not particularly fond of.
The main reason is that you can’t clearly see how many 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1-star reviews there are in one glance. You have to scroll through all the reviews to find out what customers said when things went wrong. Either the Yotpo plugin is designed this way, or the seller has set it up that way.
This is inconvenient for the customer, and again, no matter how good a seller is, having only 5 or 4 star reviews is unrealistic.
Out of 1,000 reviews, there will always be at leats 10 to 30 frustrated customers who will leave a 1- or 2-star review, that’s just how it goes. Hiding those reviews is, in my opinion, not good business practice.

Customers Feedback
Their online reputation is mixed due to their past; however, they have many good reviews on their website, and I want to believe they are now conducting honest business.
I would rate them a 6.5 out of 10.
As for their customer service, since I don’t have enough information, I’ll give them an average rating of 8 out of 10 for now.
These ratings may change as I gather more information.

Final Rating
It’s really challenging to assess this seller. Have they truly made amends for their past? Are they operating as a drop shipper or not?
They reached out to me personally, asking to remove the article I wrote, claiming that they’ve reformed.
The boss mentioned they completely changed their staff and assured that their current business practices are ethically irreproachable.

While it’s possible that they’ve turned things around, and I’m open to giving them the benefit of the doubt, I still feel it’s important to acknowledge the issues they’ve had in the past.

Hope I don’t get scammed! I ordered a few days ago. Only found this site just now.
They did email me back once. It took a day to respond.
They would be extremely smug to sell counterfeit dolls nowadays. You will probably receive an authentic doll. You will just get the usual Chinese vendor-customer treatment. Pray to God you won’t need any after-sale customer service.
