MythicDoll.com is a Chinese vendor that was created literally just three months ago. As is often the case with low-grade Chinese vendors, they rely on grandiose marketing phrases such as “Trusted Premium Store” and “Unmatched Customer Satisfaction.”
But how can a company claim to be a trusted store with “unmatched customer satisfaction” when it is only three months old and does not have a single verified customer review?

I am actually sick and tired to see this type of Chinese vendor popping up in the market. I can’t help but to notice that they wish us to believe that this business is managed in America. It is not.

Their About Us page tells the story of “Alice,” a Chinese woman who supposedly traveled to the United States and spent a fortune studying communications and business management at a university in California, only to return to China and open an online sex doll store, a business that hardly requires such an educational background.

I may be wrong, but I find the story highly implausible. It simply doesn’t make much sense. Why would someone spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a university education only to come back and start an online sex doll business and make YouTube review videos?

In fact, this website made me realize something that I hadn’t fully appreciated before. I’ll explain what I mean as this review progresses.

Their website is well designed and easy to navigate. It features a good filtering system, and the overall design is visually appealing.

However, like many other vendors, they display the usual perpetual “discounts” that does not reflect genuine price reductions.

At the moment, they offer only three brands, all of which are relatively new to the market. I am not yet very familiar with any of them, so I cannot comment on their long-term quality. That will have to be proven over time. However, based on their promotional images, the models certainly look promising.

Their Youtube videos + her fake biography is actually what openned my eyes to something that I have been suspecting for many years.

First, that girl is not in the US anymore. She makes her video from China. How the heck a young girl like her has the means to produce professional Youtube videos with all the sex doll models that she wishes? This all cost money, lots of money. I know, I did tons of Youtube reviews myself! And they were not as nearly as professional as “hers”.

The only explanation is that this is actually a website that was built by the manufacturers themselves and use that girl as a front. They even offer “Private Quote”. Why? Manufacturers do all have a minimum price to sell. Vendors can NOT sell below that price.

Let me explain something that is actually very easy to understand.

If a factory creates its own website and sells directly to customers at lower prices than its own resellers, it will eventually destroy its reseller network. We’ve seen this happen several times over the years with brands such as Piper Doll, Butterfly Doll, and JY Doll. They were once major players in the industry.

Today, they have largely faded into the background. After all, why would Western vendors actively promote a Chinese factory that undercuts them on price? They simply stop recommending those products.

Sales decline, which means the factory has less money to invest in research an development. Without innovation, sales decline even further. Piper Doll and JY Doll are good examples of brands that have suffered from this cycle, along with what I consider to be poor business practices.

As I have written many times, a large number of Chinese businesses in this industry operate with very low business ethics. Misleading advertising, deceptive marketing, and false claims are unfortunately common.

I don’t mean to brag, but I genuinely believe that if people like me, and communities such as The Doll Forum, hadn’t been watching this industry closely, there would be far more scams today, and many Chinese vendors would provide even worse customer service than they already do.

Without people willing to expose questionable practices and call companies out publicly, this market would be complete chaos.

There is much more to say on this subject. I think it deserves a dedicated article.

It will be very interesting to see how quickly their Trustpilot page fills up. Building a genuine online reputation takes time. Will they follow the path of so many other Chinese vendors and purchase five-star reviews? Time will tell.

I am almost 100% convinced that this website is actually operated by the same company that owns the three brands they currently sell. I do not believe that the young woman featured in their story is the real owner. In my opinion, the entire story was created to gain your trust.

Once again, I strongly recommend dealing with Western vendors whenever possible. In my experience, their business practices are generally based on customer service rather than deceptive marketing.
